symmetry problem
i am following a tutorial that shows modelling with symmetry on i have done a bit of the tutorial but then it comes to cutting the polygons and symmetry doesn't do this on both sides is there anyway round this that still keeps symmetry intact

Cheers and welcome to the site!!
First off.... -Circle all the middle vertices and line then all up at '0' on the x-axis. -Use the lasso tool to circle all the polygons on one side of the axis. -Delete all the selected polygons. -Then bring up the mirror tool (hotkey is 'Shift+v') and place it on the axis. -Click once and now all the sides are perfectly symmetrical. -Hopefully i didn't lose you anywhere.
