Sunset with a twist
Hi all.
Took the sunset a little further, just for fun. Grass with Sasquatch. Tree with TreeDesigner. Hope you like it. Please, put up your critics. Thanks. http://clientes.netvisao.pt/pricardo/GrassTree.avi First frame... |

That is nice! Every one is posting their tree, grass and sunset pics. :p
The clouds could use a little less contrast. Why is the fence black and white like that? If you look at the tree and the sky it looks like the sun is on the left side of the frame but the light on the grass seems to be comming from the right.

Thanks.
Kvaalen, in the avi the fence is not as black. I had to put a light just for the fence because of that. You are quite right about the position of the sun and the light on the grass. That is something I couldn't figure out how to change. I garantee you that I tried all kind of tricks and twists. It never changed. I don't know what was wrong. |

I've got 5 lights.
And nope. with selfshadows for all lights it gets darker. If I find a break, I will try to figure it out. |

Many Thanks all.
vertiis, I'm quite newbie to LW. I still don't have the knowledge to write a tut. I'm glad you liked it, though. Thanks |

The leaves look very cool, but in the animation it looks like you applied a displacement to them. The problem is that the braches don't move.
I would suggest using EndoMorphes to make the branches sway. |

Actually they move. Not much, but they move.
The leaves move a little more then the branches, and they also have a displacement. Never the less you are right. The branches don't seem to move. Your ideia of using endomorphs seems great. I will give it a try. Thanks. |
