Default clothes

does any one know how to make clothes? i assume it's a physics thing? and a wight map thing? like a dress... it sit's of the body for the most part... and only when the body bumps it does it move... other wise it's like a chian? or i'm i way off?

There is a great motion designer tutorial here that covers some very realistic animation with a dress you should try it out.
