take a look, why are some polys a darker shade and why is that one only showing up half.
im really stumped on this one. ![]() |

This generally tends to happen when your polys are non-planar (at least for the darker shaded ones). You can check the planarity (is that a word? - maybe flatness is better) by selecting the poly and pulling up the info window. This should give you a percentage figure. Only way I know to get around this is (a) Flatten the polygon, (b) Triple the polygon (c) Subpatch (d) re-model...
As for the poly only showing partially, this could also be due to the poly being non-planar, or alternatively could be an artifact of the point order leading to a degenerate polygon. If it renders OK, don't worry too much, if not, kill the offending polygon, select it's points in a clockwise order and hit 'p' to recreate... |
