June - sharp - noob
well y not enter i was abit worried about not completing this months challenge after last month but i have had exams but my last 1 is tommorow yay.
heres what i am going to do its something kinda a naga warrior type thing. heres some info about the naga myth Living in the watery region under the earth called Patala, nagas are serpentine creatures from Hindu mythology. The are semi-divine and number one thousand. They have human faces and serpent's tails, and reign in great splendor and guard treasures. There are four classes of naga: heavenly, divine, earthly and hidden depending on their function in guarding the heavenly palace, giving rainfall, draining rivers, or guarding treasures. It is said that nagas have the ability to make men invisible underwater. It is also said that nagas will give ones they favour soma. a drink that will grant the drinker great strength. The King of the nagas, Ananta-Shesha is said to have either seven or 1000 heads. It is said that nagas will destroy the world with fire eventually. In Burma, nagas are part serpent, dragon, and part crocodile. They give rubies to those that they favour and they protect many royal people in Burmese mythology. |

To tell you the truth that looks more like the back than the chest. The bulging parts remind me of shoulder blades with huge muscles on them.

well i want to get a whole body done befor i start details. but when the armour goes on i think it will look better but i would like to get a as good as possible figure for him. but im really just starting off on lightwave. i have done about 6 models total. my 4th and 5th are in d/l section if u want a look at them lol i am haveing trouble proventing getting points with 5 connectiong i dont know if they have a name but i think you will know what i mean. i did the chest useing 1 box completly cut up with the knife then reshaped the polys so i dont have any of there but the face has 16 any tips to get rid of these . i tryed deleting polys etc but in a tutorial video it showed it being selecting some polys pressing a button and it got kind of moved around other wise im struggling with that and when i attach the neck to the body its the same to . im dreading the hands and connections to body and legs/arms |

if you're having troube connecting stuff. Weld the 2 points. 1 from the leg and 1 from the body.

yea i know to weld
i mean when a point is connected to 5 polys. or has 5 or more lines comeing out of it. where it creates a crease / wrinkle effect type thing i was wondering if theres any easy way to get rid of them atsept deleting and creating polygons for an hour because it took me an hour to get rid of 1 |

Hehe the star problem,,,, well firstly put the object in layout and do a render to see weather it will turn up during the render.,, you will be surprised to find out you can get away sometimes. Or you can do the spin quads command and rework the flow of the area. I usually spin opp sides and merge the polys to get a better flow. If this is also not going your way, delete the polys and rework it manually. Add a point or so and create the polys.
