The characters..... I've been looking for a reason to get these guys started....this seems like a good reason.... this is "Betty and Doc-Shock" now I'm guessing I wont have time to texture them but this is an animation challenge anyway so I'll use the first half of the month to model and the second to animate....So I'll probably run out of time before I get very far so don't hold your breath guys.....

Thanks guys I've done a full screen capture for this image... I work with PS in one screen and lightwave on the other..... I wish Lightwave was fully compatible with dual monitors..but oh well... this is the start of Betty's body... I like to keep my meshes as simple as possible...

See, this is why I'm happy you've returned to the Lightwave fold! Excellent character design! Will be good to see how this progresses.

Thanks Kumar.. @ Fallenswordsman: It's good to be back.... I was really busy working on a short I sold to "Bravo" ( arts channel) and so had no real time to work on other stuff....and now with the studio I work for winding down for the summer I have a few months to play around with LW8 Which Rocks...Anyhoo here is an update.... I'm really rushing the character to get to figuring out some animation...comments and crits as always are welcome.

Looks good. I like the beehive hat. Don't want to crit too much cos I don't want to hold you up on the modelling stage when you should be spending time on the anim but I just think the butt could be a bit bigger and the boobs a little less pointy and a little more saggy. As I say, don't spend too long making fine adjustments to the models though.
