Default July-nooc-Krull

Well im a little late but better then never =) Im using the Iron Giant audio clip. and I will model ( as acuratley as time alows me) the two Iron Giant characters here are some concepts. (None drawn by me =).

Ya im not gonna be spend to much time on modeling after last nights experimentation with spline modeling I belive ill just ressel with the animation ... mostly ... heres a rough of what I got out of the spline modeling ( note first time I used spline modeling =)

lol - I was wondering what the characters looked like for this. I knew the clip was from The Iron Giant but I've never seen the film. Nice model so far.

well I didn't have much time today I do got a small update on head. and tomarrow I will finsih giant and start on dean.
I gave up on accuracey because I just rembered I don't know how to animate =) so I will have to take the rest of the time to learn that. well heres update.

Well Life has caught up with me and I can't devote as much time as I wanted to lightwave. I got the Iron Giant done ( he is not detailed nor textured but I don't have time) I still havent started on dean, if I don't get him done by the end of tomarrow im gonna have to drop out... =( ... im gonna spend the rest of the day ( I know it) trying to learn how to rigg and animate any good tutorials would be help full. I will try my best to come up with somthing, id rather have somthing then naught at all.

Well at least you have a nice Iron Giant model. Blimey - just looked at the date! Only eight days left til this challenge is over. This month has gone too quick!

I rigged along Philips tut on this site, if you do so, take note what kumar says about elbow direction/CTRL IK on this challenge thread.

well I havent started animating yet... I am still rigging ( harder then it looks) ive come into a snag which I want ur appoin

I have dean done except hair I could go with poly hair or saslite hair ( fur cause I dont got time to use spline guides) u tell me which looks better.
