aug/sept - noob - sharp
ok i plan on learning as much as a can on basic textures so i am going to do ( if allowed ) to do 2 dinos 1 big one and 3 little ones attacking it and low poly to.

ok i have made some concepts but i did them in pencil so i altared to best i could and i will do some in pen tomorrow before i get to modeling
this 1 is the t rex style it will have red skin with brown / green tiger like strips. i aim for around 3000 polys for it as i am doing game poly and it would be able to have that many for its size |

ps they might look a little bit off because i had to use paint to resize them no photoshop on this comp ill use ps tomoz so you can see better |

p.s altho my concept dont look it i wasted a modified raptor so in 3d i got it looking a bit like a raptor 380 quads atm 760 when tried of corse, looking for 2000 tris so can get some detail in mouth and hand an feet yet |

tidyed up the points abit to give more of a smooth look more work to be done there.

I would maybe add a bit more musculature to the top part of the arms, but other than that, its a nice start.

i tryed to do that but it made the smoothing go strange ill try again later if i have poly lefts to get at it but atm i am going to leave it as it is until later on currently at 1400 polys and still got inside mouth spikes on back and the hands i might just do some stuff with 2 or 4 polys and do it with textures and alpha

maybe bring them a little higher they seem a bit too low unless its just the angle of the screen shot

yea they where but i carnt fix the mesh to be smooth again ill try again later but perhaps it will look ok when it has textures on

iv tryed to edit parts of it..
rescued some polygons so i can do some detail with the teeth and back spikes i dicided to use them as alphas as a different layer will do them later after i done the body.. iv set out all te body parts now ready to b uv'd and manipulated to look right i never done uv's so i hope im doing this right heres a view of them in perpective. |
