Interesting, currently working on a skyscraper for an animation (as a note, after 9/11, usable skyscraper info is really tough to find for the most part).
It's a nice building, something 'appears' wrong with the proportions but can't quite figure out what it is. One thing though, is fire escapes usually don't have 'floor openings' in a straight line to the ground but 'zig-zag' them- so you don't splat on the ground while banging your body parts on the edges of all the other openings on your way down if you lose your grip 5 stories up and instead sorta splat 1 story down on iron grating. Kinda tough to critique beyond that, are you building a still image of a small city, or animation? Is it a 'focus' building or general purpose filler?

very nice, only crits are on the fire escape not zigzagging(as stated above) and that the fire escape is to large for the building itself. I think that that is what is causing the buildings proportions to look kinda off. Otherwise superb model and textures.

ah, I also just noticed that the drain pipe that runs down the side of the building doesn't seem to lead to anything but the ring of concrete around the top of the building.

Looks Great the only thing is it just seems that there are to many windows on each floor. Keep up the good work mate

I'd personally like to see the banging and cracking also..ummm..for research.
As a filler it's great, more then great, hell I'd like to use it as it is. With an adjustment or two it'd be mid-filler (just made that up, there's filler then stuff nearby and visable to a focus). If the building isn't going to be visable enough for people to study it in any still shots of the animation then it's perfect. Otherwise there could be problems. Personally, I'd leave it as-is for now, even the fire-escape holes and create everything else then present that as a still, or better as a test animation with motion-blur or even a still from the animation with motion blur. Creating everything to perfection that isn't in frame, will be blurred, obscured by other objects or other sum-such is an unnecessary time-sink.
