Default Basic walking for Bones in 3DSMAX

I'm a beginner in animation, and I've learned how to use some basics of bones for quite some time, what I cannot do is have the bones animate, or walk (it is possible for me to make a walking figure, but that would take too much time), is there a method that I could use that is simple in making bones walk?

thanks!
