Hmm, if you're wanting solid drawings (ie: rendered output), then you can fake it using either a plugin (such as Eki's Fakemetric Camera), or you can do it directly in layout.

Set your camera at an extreme distance from the model, and simply zoom in the required amount. This will remove almost all perspective from the view. By moving the camera to the same distance on each axis, you can then obtain three images to stitch together for an orthographic projection.

Failing that, you can always simply screengrab from Modeller

Nope, the Fakemetric camera plugin is part of Eki's plugpak.

You can get it here:

http://www.kolumbus.fi/erkki.halkka/plugpak/

(There's also a bunch of other really useful bits in there too)... It;s fully functional nagware, but if you register (which I urge you to do - Eki has put together some pretty awesome stuff) then the nag screens go...

couldnt you export to EPS to achive this result?

dont realy know what you are asking but from the solution up there, i think you could do it from modler.

for each of the view points you would select the view you would like, make it wireframe then File | Export | Emulated Post Scrips (EPS).

You can also export as a single viewpoint or UV map.

I have been told CAD applications and Arcitectual programs read EPS files and draw them for you.

not to sure what you mean by "3rd angle" though, dosnt need explaining, just wondered if this was easier for you.

cheers all

i found out that my school has a program called prodesktop (terrible for modelling and rendering photorealism) but can make the ortho drawings i need, so i'll export it as the eps exetension.

Just as a point of interest, 3rd angle and 1st angle orthographic drawings are practically the same but one puts the top view on the bottom left, the other at the top; pointless really.

Thanks
