What are your guy's opinions on Lightwave vs. Maya?

there have been about 1 million of these post if you go back and read... I think it does not really matter which one you choose as long as you give 110% to learning the program. I have tried both and my perferance is LW. Try demo versions of both, and will find your answer real quick. After you learn one of the programs learn the other one... Both have very strong point...

Sod, do you have any info on Modo?? I have not heard much about this... other than some of LW's oringal creaters have started the program...

already been there... I watched 90% of the videos on the site. I was wondering if you knew any more info... I would say it looks really cool... I really like the edge weights...

Edge weights are nice, but i don't think there are any apps which use them yet.

From what I can see, Modo is a really nice modeller, but the price ??? Far too expensive for what it is.
