Default single point poly's

I'm trying to get a nice starscape for my friends animation. SHe want them twinkling. I found a tutorial but can't find a plugin he says you need. It's called point2poly. Does anyone know where I can get this or how to achieve a smiliar effect. Thanks.

I have Lightwave 7.5 and i'm pretty sure that 8 would have it as well. Anyway it should be under Create>Elements>Points2polys.
In mine its between Make Pol and RandPoints.

Hope that helps.
