Default rendering segments

just a basic question i think, but is it possible to tell lightwave how many segments he is using when it renders a scene?
most of the time i am rendering an image at a resolution of 1024*786. but then lightwave seperates the image in 4 segments. i don't want that. is it possible to change that???

thank you!

Yes, you need to adjust the 'Segment Memory Limit' value (you can find this in the Camera Properties panel.

You need to set it to a value high enough to accomodate the entire image buffer in a single segment, for a 1024*768 image, you're looking at somewhere upwards of 40MB
