I can give you one hint... Over at Newtek.com there was a member that modeled an Audi engine. (Maybe a couple months ago.) If you go over there and search around maybe you can ask the guy how he made his engine. If i'm not mistaken it took him about a month to complete the engine.

Nice start on the Lotus so far. I like the detail in the wheels. How many polys per each wheel?

I had a look around and found the link to the thread. First of all are you a member of Newtek.com? If not then you must register before you will be able to see any attached images on the forums.

Oh and i just saw your thread on there too and i think you should attach that image over here on SimplyLightwave.

I'll search some more after i come from work.

Hey! Looks like a pretty good model so far! Wheels look awesome!

SLW does actually cover all ages. I just turned 16! Unless there is someone who is 13 or something like that...

Looks awesome man! One thing i could suggest is for you to look for a lotus seven car manual. That gives a lot of description on how to fix the engine and other bits of details. Are you try to create the engine for a demo reel or something? Anyway don't stop modeling cause your doing a good job.

Oh and i'm 16 as well, almost 17 though.
