Default Animating a propeller

I have a model of a plane, i got through purchasing. However when I try to rotate the propeller to animate it, instead of rotating in place, it is rotating out of place. Meaning it is going all over the place and not actually spinning like a properller..

Really strange. can anyone help.

Load the model into Modeller, and adjust the pivot point so that it is in the centre of the propeller. Save the model out and then load it into Layout - if you now rotate the prop around it's bank axis, all should be OK.

to ajust the pivot point, it rotates around the center axis. So go to Modify: Center of Axis -> Select proper axis to center on. Now just send it to layout. (however the propeller will be in the center of the scene so you need to fix this.
