Default Cameras

I am working on a project and I will be needing some of the objects to always be facing the camera (so as to appear 2 dimensional)? I am positive there is a way to do it, mabey by setting the camera as a parent object, but it dosent quite work how I want it to.

Yeah thats the way you would do it. What doesn't look right?

O Yeah and please don't double post threads.

sorry to double post

basically I want the object to stay still, while still rotating with the camera. As it is, the object moves and rotates with the camera. I also only want the object to rotate on one or two axis

Can anyone tell me how to keep an object facing the camera, while not following the camera's movement aswell?

EDIT: I sort of have the problem fixed, I added in movement options, Orient effector, selected to the camera on the Heading axis, which works as long as the camera is facing directly at the object

Lightbulb

Here is what I have so far. This is not what I am going to do with it (once I get it right). As you can see in the video (dont mind the camera work) the poison mushroom follows the camera direction, but I want it to always face (directly at) the camera

Use the target under motion options for the mushroom. It should then look at the camera. You can also use nulls to get more control. As far as orientation problems. Just reset the rotations on it, like bones for character animation.
