Default Tutorial

Hey fellas im doing this tutroial at newtek ftp://ftp.newtek.com/pub/LightWave/T...dlines_2pp.mov
and im having trouble wiht the polyogon static part, it says one i have stencled the object and named the layer diffrent i sholud be able to go in statistics and select the layers polygons but it does not have anyhting like it any help would be great.

Ah but there is. Open up the statistics box and scroll down. Right under Non-Planar there is a greyed out box called Surf. This stands for surface. Though it is greyed out you can still click the little arrow in it. If you do it will pop up a window with all of your surfaces in it. Select the surface deleteme as they called it in the tutorial and voila, the box is no longer grey! Now just click the little plus to select the polygons! Here is a I made showing how with a surface called lens. Cheers!
