Default Fruit

Just made some fruit. Alle textures are made up from skratch. I don't feel like to add any more fruit to it so i put it in the finished work section.

Hope you like it!

Thanks for the reply's

Since i just placed the fruit in layout i can't take a wirescreenshot with the objects at the same place as they are in the render. so i just placed them next to each other and made a screenshot.

I really like the fruit, but the basket kind of ruined for it me. It just doesn't look natural.

great work!

did you use splines to make the basket threads/sticks? they look perfect - i think Quaxor has a point though, i'd have prefered a standard bowl (even though the threads do look great)

thanks for the comments and compliments people. i agree the basket doesn't reach the quality of the fruit. but since i didn't wanted to spent more time on it i made it like this.

how i did the basket threads/sticks?????

thats very simply.

just make 3 cylinders with a lot of segments, and place them in a triangle form. then set the action center to "selection" and open the "twist" tool. then you click and hold the left mousebutton and starts rotating the 3 cylinders. when it looks good, you can bend the sticks with the bend tool.

hope that make sense. if not, i will try to explain better ( by making some screenshots ).

cheers

yeh, makes sense, i just tend to get this odd deformation of objects when i bend them, yours just looked smooth all the way round. (nice job)

Thx
