Radiosity and Cautics Problem
I'm have a big problem here..
So this is my problem.. i'm already model a hotel for my client, and to make it's more realistics, I guess i must turn on the radiosity and cautics. But when i turn on the radiosity and cautics function, the rendering time take very long time, i guess 2 full days for a single picture. Can anybody help me to reduce the rendering time... for your information i'm using Antialising medium only. and this is my computer spec. P4 3.0E Ghz 1GB DDR400 RAM GeForce Fx5700LE 40 GB Maxtor 7200 rpm Asus Motherboard. |

That is about right. Radiosity and caustics kill your render times! Also having a large camera resolution will make it take awhile. If your are doing a hotel though you don't really need caustics. Unchecking it will help your render time dramatically.

Also, you might want to try turning the rays per evaluation setting down as this will also decrease your render times, albeit at the expense of quality...
