Default Jedi Starfighter

The 'Jedi Starfighter' Tutorial on SimplyMaya.com - will we be seeing a Lightwave version of this tutorial on SimplyLightwave at any time in the future?

Star Wars fan.

It is doubtful but maybe if you could raise enough hell over it then they will do it.

Cool

I've been toying with the idea of Grievous' Wheel Bike, but we shall see.

HELL !!!!

well ok, I've been modeling SW stuff in the past, but I'd really like to push it to the level you guys are working, most of the stuff I see here is beyond my knowledge , and most space tutorials are pretty basic.

basically, any well detailed spaceship would help, as long as it has great texturing potential... which is where I fail most.

gee that sounds pathetic...

well ok, here's one off my models with pathetic texturing...
it's a blue version of Lars homespeeder

I find it fun to view the Maya tutorials, but model in Lightwave.

I did Anakin's Jedi Fighter using the maya's tutorials. Here's one render.

Yes it is. I aslo did one from the Apache tutorial in MAYA. Even though I have MAYA, I am still very comfortable using Lightwave. I guess using Lightwave for 6 years now as a Hobby. I am pretty much a Lightwaver junky. Some people can take that long to be comfortable with these types of software, besides learning in an artist CG form.

I just take the knowledge in Lightwave and apply the techniques they use. Pretty much that is what I strive for, is the techniques in how others do them.

Cheers,
Promethius
