Default Claro Digital Mascot

Hi wavers,

Im a LW user since v2 (with that big dongle called Video Toaster), and I have been doing corporate logo treatment and Industrial animation as a side job. I have never attempted to make a character until last month. So I decided to give it a try and model the mascot from the company Im working on (Claro Digital is a cellular operator here in south of Brazil).
Feel free to make critics and comments plz.

Thx

Here is the actual mascot:

Is the top pic a rendering?Or a photo.
If it`s a rendering then your textures are perfect

Still, the model looks to be coming together. Nice clean mesh too.

Hey all,

After a long time, I have something new.
Its a 6 sec animation with Claro walking out of a building. The background is actually a photograph. I was inspired by Philip tutorials about composition and walk-cycle.

I know the shadows are way too dark. I will fix it up later.

Maybe the zip file is too big for the site?

Try putting it up on some public webspace and stick a link into it there...

The file has 1.6Mb. The limit is 2 Mb right ? I will try something else, since I dont have a webspace to put it.

Really nicely done Felipe.

One thing that did catch my eye was the feet - it seems like the bird is doing a little moonwalk when after the foot has hit the ground..

Thx guys.
I will redo the walk cycle.
Im not really sure how much he has to go forward based on each walk cycle. I have used z channel amplitude for one leg in graph editor to calculate how much I have to move the Main Null.
