Default July/Aug - Norm - jedimasta

My skillset says I should be entering amongst the Noobs, but my greedy little heart screams "GO FOR THE TABLET!", so call me norm.

It's probably pretty dark of me to think so, and psychiatric help may be necessary, but the first thing I thought when I saw the subject was "fear on life" and "loathing of oneself". You probably get where I'm going here. So I'm working on this:

Normally I'm all about the comedy, but I thought I'd try something dramatic. Textures aren't yet complete, but coming along. Feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Default July/Aug - Noob, definitely - JaXanim

Blimey! I'd forgotten about this! Thanks for the email. I've been distracted by home decorating for days now and not done any 3D work for a while. I really wonna take a shot at it!

Fear and Loathing - with Lights! Dooh, I'm really gonna have to get thinking on this. Fear and loathing - together, that's quite a lot to take in I reckon. When yer frightened are you hateful as well? If yer loathing something, are yer frightened at the same time? I dunno.

Anyway, at this stage I've got absolutely no idea how to marry these two feelings, let alone light it properly. All I can say is I'll definitely take a shot if the wife doesn't decide to redecorate the lounge!

Cheers,

JaX

Sorry, posted this here in error.

changed some lights around, aplplied a little creative translucency here and there and added textures to everything. As always, feedback welcome and appreciated.

Great idea and nice lighting the scene is looking very good. My only crit would be to try a differnt camera angle, move the camera closer to the pills so that they take up more of the frame and the bottle is in the middle ground and the light in the background.

I'll give it a shot, thanks for the crit. At the moment i'm working on the illusion of refraction of light through the bottle and onto the plan. I'll throw a second camera in and bring the pills in closer to the camer and each other.
