For a full scene render you press F9

In order to render the entire timeline, resulting in an animation, you press F10, after you've set the name of the animation and the tipe(.Avi, storyboard) and the codec used from the Render panel Render options tag or else it wouldn't make much sense since you won't be able to see the animation you just rendered so...it would suck to spend about 5 hours rendering and then find out you didn't set Lightwave to save it. Trust me...it sucks! :headbang:

To render just your current object and light effects and volumetrics you press F11 which is a time saver if you have a lot of objects in a scene but you only want to see one.

You can also use Render Limited Region which is also good if you're only interested in a small part of your scene.

Hope that helps....
