Just wanna say Thank you for the awesome Mclaren tutorial
I'v been learning Lightwave from tuts for a while now, when I first bumped into this website and seeing the prices of the tutorials, I thought no way am I spending that much and getting ripped off. I'v paid for a few tutorials in the past and they were a disaster. So I was being a bit cautious this time round. After reading many recommendations from various other forums I decided to bit the bullet.
so far iv completed the first 5 movie files and theres shed loads to do yet, doing those first few, iv'e learnt many new things, - Splines, Patching, etc. I gotta say its been worth it so far. you almost feel as if you're sitting right next to the guy in the tutorial, he explains very well, easy to understand. I highly recommend the Mcalren tutorial to anyone who's backing away with the idea of paying, I tell you its worth every penny. I'm looking forward to buying more tutorials once I finshed this model and will have a go at modeling my own using the same techniques. From a very pleased customer:beer: Electro

I am on part 45 now and let me tell it gets better and better. Phillip is an excellent teacher.
Some other teaching dvds ( other sites) are small lessons on this tool does this watch, this tool does this like this. Here at Simplylightwave your straight watching a Pro model animate surface something using all the tools available its pure learning. I also got very bad DVDs before and its just worthless to watch a bad DVD from somewhere else that just teaches you what something does. Watching a pro model and use tools is invaluable for learning not just what the tools do but the process from starting a project to completeing it.

I would totally agree that this is the best Tutorial from Beginning to End. Now with discount rates for this Complete DVD set. I would think this Set is a Must for newcomers of LW once they have the interface down a bit.
This tutorial has brought my modeling techniques to a whole new greater level. If one is hesitating to buy these Video Tuts, you will wish you hadn't. As electro says, "It's like having the pro right there along with you." And of course having someone explain it to me in plain and simple terms, is important to me. This is an A+++++ Tut. |
