say guys... any of you guys got a dual board? does lightwave benefit a lot from this...especially during rendering?
just wondering as mayas rendering sucks the duals to bits... let me know as a friend of mine was asking me if it was worth the upgrade costs |

I run Dual 1.8 AMD 2200+ and its runs Great it truly Doubles the Processor Power dureing Rendering. Remember though LW only used Both Processors dureing Rendering and you have to make sure you have the Option checked for Multiple Threads. You also need to know that Setting the Threads to a Number thats Higher than the ammount of Processors can also possibly lessen the rendering time. I have two Processors so I would normaly set the Threads to Two but if you set it higher to say four or eight you might get better render times.
