Default Noobie head

Hi, as you can probably tell from the picture I'm new to LW, about 5-6 weeks. I just wanted your oppinions on how I'm doing so far and how my model can be improved. (You listening Stevan? love your head model) please be kind I bruise easily.

First of all Welcome to SLW!!

It's a good start for a first head but there seems to be a few trouble spots.
1. You have 1 too many 5 point polygons...(Where 5 polygons are sharing 1 vertice) This tends to stretch the polygons and create a bad spot. To fix it i think you should do a few Spinquads (Ctrl+k) (select 2 polygons and press Ctrl+k)

Over time it'll become easier so don't give up.

Thank's a lot I'll give it a try. I can see where you mean, sometimes you stare at something for so long you stop 'seeing' it.

For just 5-6 weeks working with lightwave, i think this is very good.

Maybe you should smooth some parts a bit more ( like the forehead, and the place where the ear is connected to the head ).

If this is the first head your modeling, remind me NEVER to post my first head.....it's kinda alienlike.....
