Noobie head
Hi, as you can probably tell from the picture I'm new to LW, about 5-6 weeks. I just wanted your oppinions on how I'm doing so far and how my model can be improved. (You listening Stevan? love your head model) please be kind I bruise easily.

First of all Welcome to SLW!!
It's a good start for a first head but there seems to be a few trouble spots. 1. You have 1 too many 5 point polygons...(Where 5 polygons are sharing 1 vertice) This tends to stretch the polygons and create a bad spot. To fix it i think you should do a few Spinquads (Ctrl+k) (select 2 polygons and press Ctrl+k) Over time it'll become easier so don't give up.

For just 5-6 weeks working with lightwave, i think this is very good.
Maybe you should smooth some parts a bit more ( like the forehead, and the place where the ear is connected to the head ). |

If this is the first head your modeling, remind me NEVER to post my first head.....it's kinda alienlike..... ahum.....gotta redo that sometime soon... |
