Default Motion Designer Cloth effects

Hey,


Just needed a little tip on how to make my Shirt not cut into my model it seems to work pretty good execpt for around the arms near the shoulder, bicep area mostly. Wondering what tool in MD would fix that problem.

you can control better the collision by add some sphere collision to critical point, and at end of work you can refine some old motion with editfx (you must use clothfx of lw8 to have that naturally).

Usually is good to not do all shirt like cloth, but is better to add cloth animation only in a motion part, and use some half rigid part to part that you not want to deform, you can use weight map to define what part you want move, what part you want to have rigid.

on newtek web there is a movie there Proton show better the technique.
