Talking Vacation Time...

Right ... I'm off away on vacation for a week...

30 of us taking the Motorbikes over to Germany to take in the sights and sounds of the Black Forest + Nurbergring.

See you all in a week...

Got back at 3:30 this afternoon.

That's Wissen (Germany - near Cologne) to Sunbury (SW London) - 406 miles ... in 5 hours excluding the Ferry time.

Certainly did ... German roads are fantastic - long, fast, swoopy bends - immaculate surfaces (except those that aren't and have really bad surfaces - there's no inbetween) - mot much in the way of traffic.

Took in the caves at Attendorn (Some really nice rock formations in there - not seen anything like it before to be honest), a day in Koblenz, an afternoon hooning around the Nurbergring, and a day up at the Mohne Dam.

All interspersed with several hundred miles of motorcycling...

Top fun. (Although I bloody ache now!!!)

Afraid not - we weren't allowed cameras in the caves... But it's definitely worth a trip down there - 6 Euros for the tour - takes around 40 minutes...
