Default Frank's Trailer

Hi guys....it's been some time, had some computer issues and ended up gettin g a new one. SOOOOoooooo I'm back and continuing to work on my skills.

Some of you might remember my character I had posted of an old man, Frank, well he's on pause for now. However I was inspired to create his travel trailer. After doing lots of research online and finding as many reference photos as I could... I ended up with this. I still have some minor touch ups, such as the propane tank...other than that I feel the exterior is finished.... now time for the interior. So stay posted and I'll be showing the progress of that.

I am starting school tomorrow......so managing my time is going to be an issue when I have such plans for Frank and he's world!!

As usual comments and feedback are always welcome and it great to be back with fellow creators!!!

Mmmm.... nice.

I know you've mentioned that there's still some little touchups that need doing - but figured I'd mention this one just in case you hadn't considered it, but I'd take another look at the wheels on the 'van.

Given that the rest of it looks more than a little - err - "lived in" shall we say, the wheels look a little bit shiny and new. Scuff 'em up a little to help them blend a little more with the character of the trailer (or even remove them and stuff the thing up on housebricks)

thanks guys for the feedback.....

yeah the tires and rims do need some aging. My plans for the scene with the trailer, is that it's going to be parked next to a side walk and there's going to be a surfboard leaning up against the trailer. I will do some scuffin' up up the tires though, I'm just trying to use my time wisely and not spend too much time on the details that don't need it.

The scene is going to be in the early morning and the key light is going to be coming from behind the trailer. I'll post updates as it comes along.... I started on the interior last night....so I'll post those as soon as I can. I started school today, sooooo it might be a some time till I can really have something good to show

thanks again guys for the comments!!

Not bad but imho bump on front side should be made more better!
What resolution of the bump texture you used?

(Sorry, my english is very bad))))

the actual scene, I have planned, for the trailer...calls for it to be considerable smaller, so I think the bump map wil work.

For the picture I enlarged the render in photoshop, that could be an issue also.

thanks for looking out everyone, I appreciate your input
