Modelling the thread of a bolt/screw
Hi,
I'm a lightwave beginner, following the tutes and starting to experiment on my own. I'd like to model a bolt but I don't know where to start with the helical thread. Is there a "standard" way to approach this or a common plug-in or tool I should look at ? I'm really just looking for a way to approach this. I guess modelling springs is going to be very similar. Any recommendations or pointers to tutorials gratefully received. |

The only thing I could find to do this was here:
http://www.iemedia.co.uk/graphics/p-plugins.htm Or just follow this tutorial http://www.3dfctutorials.com/tutoria...article&sid=14 |
