Exclamation ok please read

hello , before i start yes iam a toatal noob, and have animated professionally in other packages, and also skilled in php,html,flash, ect lol typical eh? anyways the souce of the problemb lol
first of all i have No Clue on how to export/render a animaiton in avi,mov or whatever format LW has so if anyone can point me out or point out a link on how to do so it will be MUCH MUCH appreciated, thank you everyone in advance to my switch to this excellent animation package

Hi keagan,

You'll want to have a scene loaded into Layout and then select the render tab where you can access the render options.
You should read some topics from the lightwave docs to help get you started.

thanks but i got it situated im not that big of a noob and i knew that but what happend was in render globals the only options were .flx and .flx lol same thing but thats what the options were so shutdown my pc last night brought it back up this morning and wala there was avi, quicktime and all the rest of rendering formats, so i guess there was a restart warning that didnt pop up.. hmm
but anyways thanks looking forward to working with this forum and posting some free tutes
