Hi Folks,
Hope someone can help me. In the lavalamp tutorial I am having a little bit of hassle with the particles falling out of the bottom of the collision object. Mostly they obey the collision object though. The particles seem to be coming out of the bottom of the collision object on one side only, as though they are affected by the wind. Not sure about that though. Any ideas why that might happen/what to check? The tut is good, but it doesn't give you any insight as to what effect the different variables produce, so I don't know how to troubleshoot. I've played with a few options but with no real effect on the leaking problem Ian |

Make sure your Particle generator is completly inside the collision object.

Thanks for the tip Johnny
![]() Oddly, when I preview it within LW lots of the particles seem to escape still. Is that right? Does LW just kill them off in the render process when they leave the collision object or something? Still a little confused but happier ![]() |
