The same happens to me when I save an 'exposed' version: the alpha channel is saved but completely white. So I usually save an 'exposed' image and a 'rgba' one which I copy the alpha from..

Thanx fot the tip . My currently PS version is.. ehm.. egh.. cough.. 5.5.
Ok, maybe it's time to upgrade but the only problem I have so far is that I have to run it in classic mode (os9) rather then osx.. But is a Mac issue..
