Im working on a project in which i need to wrap a rope around an anchor. Can anyone suggest a way to do this,

Hmm... possibly a couple of ways you could do this.

1) model a spline curve around your anchor and then model a polygon for the cross section of your rope. Use rail extrude to extrude the poly along the spline path.

2) IIRC correctly, one of the Worley plugin collections (either Polk or Taft) contained a plugin for producing cables, ropes, etc. that you might be able to use.

(sorry to sound so vague, but it's been a couple of years now since I've touched LW)...
