Default Logo Issues

I'm trying to convert a adobe illustrator vector logo into a Lightwave model, and I'm running across the problem. The holes in the logo are being covered and I can't seem to get them drill them out... here is the file I'm trying to convert http://www.indigames.com/logo.ai
keep in mind I'm completely new at this and this is my first time using lightwave...

thx

I've had this same thing happen to me a few times. What has always worked for me is to do the "Convert Polygons to Triangles" thing, on the entire object. It doubles or triples your Poly count, but it's solved this problem for me!

My keyboard shortcut is shift+T, I think that is the default.

If not, and you are using LW 7 look under the "Construct" tab and find the button labled "Triple" and that's it.

Hope this helps!
