For the last couple of months, Amleto has been going through beta testing. We are now proud to present our first final release of Amleto.

Amleto is a network-rendering tool for LightWave which has been designed to be easy to use and install. It differs completely from other network rendering software available as Amleto use the HTTP protocol, for communication between clients and the server, instead of file sharing.

This main difference give us the option to make Amleto able to install and configure LW on clients automatically as well as give the user the option to see the status via a web interface even remotely.

We have spent a lot of time to ensure that the whole process is easy to use and fast to set-up. Just install the Amleto client, connect to the server and within minutes it will have installed LSWN and will be ready to render your first project.

We have tried to keep the software simple to use and at the same time provide a full range of features. This is the current list of features in Amleto:

Currently the Amleto server runs only on Windows platforms and clients may run under Windows and Linux.
