Default position handles

This may be a dumb question, but the position handles have maintained a fixed point in the center of my layout but the main objects are positioned at others spots on the layout. How can I get the handles to go back to where the object is it? Please help. Thanks.

I think you are referring to the pivot point. In modeler (7.5) it is under the Details tab, Layers group. Under Layout (7.5) it is on the Items tab, Tools group.

Keep in mind that layout positions your 'handles' relative to your object in the same way the axis origin is relative to the same obj when you modeled it in modeler; so, in modeler, the pivot point is placed at the origin by default and you can change it by moving the obj relatively to your axis origin or using the tools referred by Cchristensen (layout or modeler). All layers works in the same way if parenting is not involved..
