Unhappy IT dusnt work (look at attachment)

Hey!

i did wut u told me, i put the soccer ball on the ground and nuthing happened.. there were no shadows look at the attachment.

Rendering->Render Options->Rendering tab-> Turn on raytrace shadows. Also make sure in your light properties->shadow tab, that shadow type is not set to "Off".

PPPPPLLLLLLL its not wrking!! i did wut u told me...

let me go over this once more first i made the soccer ball thn saved it. THen i made the white ground and save tht. then in lighteave i opened the ground then i opened the soccer ball, and put it on the ground. thn i place the light where i wanted it to be, ow it casts shadows on the ball but not on the ground...

can some1 plz help me!!!

i hope I'll help you a little with this:

Your screenshot is showing us layout and (me thinks) you can't see shadows in layout preview unless you hit "F9" to render it. Have a look at my screenshot: it's simple scene with ground object and geometry. There is a light in this scene (spot light) and a camera. As you can see there is no shadows there....

...but if u hit "F9" to render it u will get shadows. On this screenshot u can see rendered scene and light properties and rendering options. Oh! And u can't open those two panels at the same time - i just pasted light properties panel there in mspaint

When rendered Image shows, click "File" and u will get menu full of formats. Just choose one
