okay, so here's what took me 3 days to get right. A bump and a texture map. This is the chest part, it's just a planar map and i made it by using 2 photos and the clone stamp tool to copy little pieces off them. School has started now and its become harder to do two things at once!

Looks really good! i reckon a glow in the eye like the terminator would look good, just a thought, good progress.

here's just a render of the head. I played around with the eye and added some glow, which might not be very visible... any C&C welcome, to help put some almost final touches... still 10 days left.

good to see you have some time left to update! With the darker textures the detail is not as noticable but you mentioned you didn't like them so you may change that, the eye glow adds a tonne of life. good work.

Environment?

Swish!! that looks great!

the changes bring out the detail and being a robot it would be glossy i think.

Good work Zeeman!

Thanks OZ!!! Any ideas on a landscape??? I was planning some kind of a desert scene maybe, i dont know why tho... I dont think a nice and clean and grassy place would be ideal for a mechanical dinosaur...

the desert scene is the way to go with this one i think as well, and the scene you made looks the part, just move the dino so its detail is easier to see. Thats all i have to add good work.
