*shudder* Floppy disks!
I actually remember making one of these as one of my first models but back then I did it in Imagine 3D. How have you done the CH and the little arrow? Are they actually modelled or did you use a bump map?
Overall, nice little first image and a good confidence booster to go on to greater things!

He he, it remembers my first LW work too (you can find it in the gallery ).
Now that you are confident with modeling and AA move on lights: change your distant in spot light to get softer shadows, low down ambient light and use at least another spot or point light for ambient, instead.. Just experiment a bit. Anyway good work
