Skelegons, Bones and Layers !
First of all, I want to thank all the regulars at SLW forum for beeing so nice and helpfull.. You guys really make one feel welcome
Then on to the question. I have been wrking with skelegons and bones for some time now, and are getting the hang of it ! One thing annoys me tho' when I have to make the bones work in layout I have to flatten all layers, so skelegons and model is in the same layer. Is ther no way around this so skelegons converted to bones can work with modelparts from a diffrent layers |

You can do this. You can have bones in another layer or another object. Convert the skelagons to bones like normal. Select the object that is going to use those bones. Now select the Bones button and bring up properties. Right up at the top, it says 'Use Bones From Object' and a drop-down box. Select your bones from there and you should be all set.
