looks cool. Whats it gona be? The idea that comes to my mind is a post nuclear area like Fallout. Another thing is a deserted militery base. that would give you a heck of a chalange. but those barrels looks good and the whole thing would look awsome

Certainly starting to come together here. I'm not a crane expert but those iddy biddy chains don't look as if they would hold the dirty great big hook nor whatever it happens to carry - but then I don't really know how the hook would normally be attached to the rest of the crane! Best of luck with the scene though.

For what it's worth, I found this bucket on a photo jaunt. I over-saturated it to bring out the uglies better. This may be too old for you.

i believe that my stronger point is in modeling not in texturing.......
For the nuclear/construction place ive decide to make a level out of it, hopefully it will be big If anybody has extra time on their hands can you post some rust/sand/wood/brick textures on this thread because im not great at finding or making them. Thanx

My point with the bucket wasn't so much the texture, as it was the rusted away gaps. The lip, being thicker metal, stayed intact while the thin wall around it rusted clean away. Might look cool if you do a clipping map or whatever they call them.
Getting textures on is not so hard... Nice model |

my one problem with the texturiing is the streching of the image. i have to learn how to work around that.
To Mark= i tried to download the collections but my computer was malfunctioning.....like alway although thanx for reminding me ill check them out right now To Leovenous= i have no clue what clipping map is.... fill me in if you find anything about them...
