Default trying to remove triangle

this modeling stuff has a lot to do with matematics and regular triangles and squares

i highlighted the triangle and i can't figure out an effective way of removing it or converting it to a square

is there any way besides cutting down the length of the roof and letting the spline carry right back in the same direction?

Its often difficult to get rid of all tri's in a complex mesh like a car, is it causing any problems?

hope this makes sense to you.
