Rail Clone Problem
I'm new to Lightwave, although I am not totally new to 3D Modelling (I have used C4D and Maya). I am trying to follow the Sasquatch tutorial here ( http://www.worley.com/TutFiles/StuTut/index.htm ).
I have got to the point at Image 16, where you need to use the Rail Clone tool. I have followed the previous steps to the letter, but when I try to apply the Rail Clone, I get an error message saying 'Cannot establish basis for specified rails. I have the guide rails in the background, and the objects I want to clone in the foreground. I tried it the other way round as well, but I still get the same error. Does anybody have any ideas on a way to either fix this, or use another method that will get me similar results? I will post the object file if anybody wants to have a go and make a liar out of me! I am using Lightwave 7.5c on Windows XP Home (SP1)
