Cool Modeling A Stratocasyte Guitar

I'm going to model a Stratocastre guitar with refering a tutorial video.
First of all I made a outline of guitar and extrude it.
Next I cut top and bottom polygons and subpatch the side surface. And next I paste the top and bottom polygons but they don't fix closely becouse top and bottom plygons are not subpatched surfaces.
I watch the video tutorial several times but I can't understand it.
Please tell me how to model a Strtocaster guitar!

(Sorry that I am not good at English.)

Hey Osamu,

1. Change your selection mode to Polygons ( hotkey is CNTRL+H)
2. Access the Statistics panel ( hotkey is 'w' ), click on Faces
3. With the Faces selected, hit tab to subpatch them

Hi Erwin
Thanks for your reply.
But I want to know how to handle the top and bottom surfaces. Thay are not surfaces with three or four vertices. So i can't subpatch them.
In the tutorial video there is nothing about that.

Can you post a screenshot? I don't have the Strat tutorial, so I'm not sure what you are trying to do. If you post a screenshot, we can see what's wrong.

Hi Erwin
I got a screenshot, after subpatch surfaces.
I want to know how to fit side subpatched surfaces and top surface.

I'll apreciate your patience.

You need to delete those polys and then manually build polys, by selecting 4 points and hitting p, and this is in the strat tut. probably just the next movie.

That's his mobster name... He calls himself 'The Fish' , but I prefer to call him 'Cheechio.' Cheechio sounds cooler.
