Yep, trashing yourself is a lot lot worse than trashing your bike. Glad you were able to walk away.

Good to hear it's only your bike that's trashed.....2000 quid is nothing compared to rehab or worse.....

Good to hear you're OK - money is nothing compared you're health...

Never mind - you could always fit stabilisers and be back on the road in no time!!!

stay safe buddy

Glad to hear you're OK John. A bent bike and dented pride is a small price to pay compared to the alternatives....

Thanx for all your comments guys

It turns out the bike it self is fine. its all cosmetic damage Fairing ,nose cone, clocks etc. I have priced the parts and its just under a Grand so last good news. I have a friend that will do all the work free of charge.

I'm going to order the parts today and hopfully get all the work done over the weekend. I will post some pic when its all back together.

Once again thanx

John

Be so careful, wear helmet, wrist, knee, shinguards

I am an emergency physician and have seen many terrible motorcycle accidents, the body is unprotected and flying through space when hit by a car.. Glad you're OK... stay safe

best

Deb
