Smile Samsung Mobile - WIP

Hi all, I have decided to model my mobile phone!

I started modelling it a while ago but didn't do too well so decided to start again.

I want to end up with a high poly, photo real render!

Interesting place to start from too. I think most people (myself included) would have started with the main structure of the phone (essentially two boxes), and modelled in the detail.

It will be interesting to see your progress unfold on this one.

@ Bullet:

Cheers

@ Mark:

I tried box modeling on my first attempt, which was ok until I had to model the screen and outter ring. It became very confusing, because of polys being so close together and I found it hard to keep a clean model, so I started again. THis is why I have taken this approach.

I started with the screen and model outwards, using extender.

I will be box modeling the phones main case next

Thanks for the comments!

Update!

I have box modeled the basic structure of the top and bottom of the case, needs some tweaking, but anyway!
