Default newbie question | Video and lightwave

I have a box I created, well i try to make it look like a plasma display.. not quite yet lol..

Are able to import video in light wave and apply it to a certain area on an object or is that something i would do in post composition like in after effects?

If it can be done in light wave, can you tell me how to iport it into lightwave and apply it to certain area.. thank you

Open image editor select load. Load the images or video file and with "image type" dropdown select sequence or animation. You can adjust the frame rate and such for your animation and apply it to your surface.

Default vedio texture

Open your obj. sellect the pollys you want your video to apper on
hit the "Q" key wich brings up your change surface dialog box, and give it a surface name. Then hit "CTRL F3" to bring up your surface editor. Under surface name you should have your surface that you named. Select the "T" button for your color option. Your texture editor window shoyuld appear. Go to the image button it shoud say (none) click on the drop down arrow and select
(laod image) Then find your AVI.
