Well we are aware that large files are difficult to download on a 56k line however we cant be responsible for the fact you're ISP cuts you off every 2 hours (use a more reliable ISP if possible), we do have a option to send you the tutorials on CD service coming maybe in the next week or so we are still working out the details of this, hopefully this will solve you're problem.

Sorry if that doesn’t solve your immediate problem but really not a lot we can do about this at this the moment.

David.

Both Freeserve and BT Openworld cut you off after 2 hours online and to my knowledge they are the 2 biggest ISP's in the UK. When downloading large files from other sites (3D Buzz for example) I can resume my download. Why can you enable this on your servers. Unfortunately I am in an area of the UK classed as rural (Less than a mile from a motorway junction and half way between 2 large cities!) and thus cannot get broadband. I will look into other ISP's but would prefer it if you could just enable resume.

We are doing as best we can atm... we are bringing in the cds and I have been talking to dave about a system that cuts the files up into smaller pieces when a 56k dial up is being used.

This stuff all takes time but we are doing all we can to make things better every day.

If we make the files resumable then our files would not be so secure as they are. If they are resumable then they would have to be in a "web accessible" area that would let any old person access and download at there pleasure.

We are looking in to these matters. I understand you frustration and apologise for any inconvenience.
